He then told me about his grandma who is a Christian and has two Bibles. When I asked him if he’d ever read the Bible, he explained that he’d tried to, but never could understand. Here was the chance we’d been waiting for!
God has really been blessing us with great connections at this music school. We almost never visit there without making another friend or two.
Most people I’ve met so far I’ve only been able to see once or twice. There is one friend, however, that I’m excited to be meeting with when I get a chance. Let me tell you his story.

As the night came to a close, I thought back on the day. I had met some new friends, got some phone numbers of fellow ping-pongers, and even received some free glow bracelets from a vendor because I was “such an attractive guy.” It was another successful day of making friends and making memories.

Sean became a Christian last year and his faith has continued to grow in the Father. His passion and love for the Lord completely blows me away.
If anything could encourage you to keep pressing in, it would be Sean. He is an example of why I am here, and why you are furthering the kingdom through prayer and support. God is doing great things here, and we get to be a part of it!
And best of all–the three students that came–Abraham, Kellie, and Lynn–were the same three that attended the first fellowship that we held last year in March. Do you remember? Do you remember how Abraham and Kellie wanted to give up the next week, but Father rescued us? He cares about His people!
We made small talk for a minute or two when he says, “I didn’t do the fellowship last week, but I’ll call some people and do it this week.” I was floored; I hadn’t mentioned the fellowship yet, so it wasn’t me forcing the thing on him. This was an answer to prayer; I had been talking to God about people who wanted to do it, rather than doing it because I wanted to.
Hundreds of paper lanterns glowed in the field as people were gathering around for the Fall Festival. After people wrote wishes in the lanterns, the lanterns were released and slowly drifted up to the sky. The full moon was bright, but the lanterns seemed to light up the sky like colored stars in different shapes and sizes. The scene nearly took my breath away.
