Our friends had invited more friends, and we ended up having over 50 people in this teeny tiny apartment. There was barely enough room for you to walk through other people or even find your way to the bathroom.
She decided to accept God into her heart, but she made us promise to keep it a secret. She wanted to wait until all of our friends got together for Bible Study so that she could share the news!

At one point Lili said, “I think it was God’s plan that I met you”. I agreed with her and told her she was an answer to my prayers and that God indeed plans out every step of our lives.
It had not been the best week for me in Asia. I had been very homesick, realized that I
bought the wrong phone card, got lost….
She shared a story about over the summer living with her grandmother and waking up to find her in the middle of the night kneeling by the bed, praying and singing.
She went on to say that she had gone to church with one of her foreign friends! She said she really liked it and felt something in her heart. I asked if it was hope and she said yes.
The crowd was large, approximately 600-700 people, and they loved it.
He looked at me and said “I really want this, this is my greatest dream”. I’ll never forget that…
I told her that I could get her a Bible and she said she would like one. I met with her the next week and was going to give her a Bible, but she had already gone out and bought one because she was so excited.
