Let’s Get This Party Started!

Setting an Example

Mid-February is the Chinese New Year, more commonly called Spring Festival. During Spring Festival, we are encouraged to spend a few days with a Chinese friend in their hometown, experiencing how they celebrate the holiday with their families. We ate the traditionally huge dinner with her family on the eve of the New Year, and then stayed one night in her home. Every morning I get up early to spend about an hour with God, and I did not let the morning I woke up in her home be an exception.

It’s Not a Mythical Place

I was really opened up to the people and hurt for them and wanted them to know God, his love and grace more than anything. It gave me more of a hunger to keep doing God’s work and maybe even go there in the future. I want to see our friends here in K-town experience God’s love just like these people do. I keep asking God to reveal himself and I know that it is going to happen here in K-town as we continue to go after Him wherever He calls us.
