Like the little drummer boy, I don’t have to worry about having more to give. God is using the things I already know, and He is teaching me new things along the way. He beckons each of us to draw near to Him, and He delights in us for everything we already are. We don’t have to be anyone we aren’t, or improve ourselves to gain His affections. He couldn’t love us anymore than he already does.

It’s not the food, or the sight-seeing, or the travel. It’s the opportunity, and the privilege, to be able to tell my friends about Jesus in a loving friendship. Something my friend Qq told me once was that I would always have a family here in Asia. I know thats true. And it is so good to experience!
Imagine a stadium filled with 3,000 Asian people praising God. “Impossible!” you say. A few months ago, I would have agreed that it was highly improbable — it just doesn’t sound like the Asia I know. However, two days ago, the “impossible” happened. I stood on a stage facing thousands of Asian believers freely praising God!
