Kyle then was baptized a week to the day of him meeting God! I asked him what he felt like. And he simply made this statement “I feel Peace for the first time in my life.” Even though the water was cold, even though, I was over an hour late, due to the bus. He felt peace.

I just realized that I haven’t given you an update about Jenny! She is the one who accepted the Gospel when I told her about it in March. I finally got to baptize her in my friends’ bathtub!

The second week we had a handful come,
and one got saved! That was Amy. The third week we baptized Amy and our friend Peter and had a couple more show up than the week
before.

Since we’ve started meeting on Sundays, THREE GIRLS have made the decision to give their lives to the Lord!

For our study, we watched the movie the Passion. During the movie I looked at Walter and saw the he was crying…

I didn’t know when I’d next see Jenny, our new sister, and I only had a few minutes to share a few words with her. What is the most important thing I could leave her with? I remembered the words from a recent training session: Give her food for survival. If she’s hungry, that’s all she needs to grow.

We baptized each of them in the small bathtub, and before each one we prayed together…

Nonetheless, as you wipe some sleep from your puffy morning eyes and shuffle your slippered feet across the kitchen to the microwave, don’t forget to thank the kind folks at Quaker Oats for making your morning just a little easier.

My teammates, Razzle and Orchid, and I sat perched with our friend May on our futon. May, our first Chinese friend to receive Jesus into her heart this year, had made the decision to be baptized, and tonight was the night!
