surreality
Since some of you probably just skip to the pictures and video anyway, I thought I’d hook you up from the top this time… so here’s some sweet pics from the capital city:

Before I link you to the video, I want you to know that this is a bit different then the last two… and perhaps, just perhaps, a bit more crazy. Enjoy.

The trip was awesome, hopefully I’ll have some time to crank out some video of that soon. We had a lot of fun and it was pretty significant in deepening our relationship with Fish.
The past few weeks have been phenomenal spiritually, Joe and I have been able to share and invest more seeds in more friends than ever before. Many of them have really been opened by the working of God in their hearts, and I anticipate it won’t be too long before we have a handful of new ‘family’ members. It’s awesome to see how strong the bridge is that intentional relationships create- I’ve been asking myself a lot why I haven’t done this more in the States. It really brings out a sense of sharing ideas that are crucially important to my life, rather than just trying to “sell” something.
Everything else has been really crazy here lately… currently I have that feeling of being a little detached where it seems like everything is sort of surreal and half asleep.
I have decided to stay in this city rather than moving for the summer. The rest of the team is jetting out early tomorrow morning and Joe left this morning. To not candycoat it, it’s depressing to see them go- but I’ve been generously hooked up with a place to stay in a different section of the city with a local missionary family we work with. I’m expecting this phase of my journey will be a bit more difficult than the previous… but I anticipate it as being a great opportunity to be stretched and pushed past where I’ve been.
Keep me in your thoughts and prayers for this new phase- and for wisdom in how to plan and relate with the many friends who are so close to such an essential decision in their lives.
Peace out.
