Accountability

Do we work with long-term missionaries?

Absolutely! Campus Target is a division of Target Ministries (TM), a mission agency that has been in Asia for over 20 years. The experience of their long-term workers provides invaluable guidance for each of our teams. A TM missionary will be in each city in which we have teams. You won’t work with these people daily, as your ministry is separate from theirs. However, you will look to them for guidance and direction, especially as you are getting started.

Will I work with the house church?

Yes – in fact, you will probably get to plant a house church during your year in Asia. Isn’t that an amazing thought? As your friends come to know the Lord, they will need a local church. Your team will get to work with a house church network and plant a new gathering for these believers.

You may also have the chance to see an established house church meeting. However, we are not heavily involved with many of these meetings, as we do not want our presence to draw unwanted government attention to their gathering.

What about accountability and direction on the field?

Accountability is extremely important to Campus Target. Your team leader will help guide your ministry so you can be the most effective light possible to your friends on campus.

If you ever have an issue with your team leader, you can speak with your city or national leaders. They are available to you at any time to help you work through any concerns or problems that you may have.

We want you to succeed above all of your expectations during your time with CT. We look to strike a balance between creating structure and guidance that enables our workers to reach their full potential, and freeing people to minister and live as they believe they should as mature adults and Christians
