I’m pleased to report that I am back in the X after a very busy couple of months. February was busy for me because I went on a very exciting trip to Malaysia where we stayed in the mountains above KL. It was a fun-filled retreat with friends where we were encouraged and challenged to go hard for the kingdom. We go on this trip because during January and February, our college friends go home so there’s not a lot of ministry to be done on campus. Unfortunately, when I was in Malaysia I got terribly sick and didn’t get a chance to enjoy the scenery. Malaysia was probably one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. It’s warm and very westernized as well as having a diverse mixture of unique cultures.

Since coming back to the X, we’ve been doing more prayer and fasting to see greater fruit in our ministry. It’s been new for me; I haven’t had a lot of experience with fasting before. It’s helping me go deeper with Him and giving me some perspective on my spiritual and physical wants and needs.

There have been multiple friends of ours coming into the family. Last Saturday, we went to a skateboarding event at a local college where we met a guy named George. We shared with him and he agreed that he needed God in his life. He said he would say yes later but he didn’t want to be hasty making his decision. I told him that he’s never guaranteed tomorrow and he agreed that next week, after reading more of the Bible and praying on his own he would say yes. We followed up with him and over dinner he accepted God into his heart!

Almost every day, I get texts saying more of our friends have joined the family. God’s on the move here in a big way. There’s plenty of stories that I can’t wait to tell you, though I can’t do it through this medium.

I know that you have been praying for us and our ministry and we’re excited that we’ve hit the ground running this second semester. Keep praying and He’ll continue to do amazing things!
