“It’s bad news,” my nephew (who is 9) exclaimed as I was about to talk to his younger sister (who is 7) about my upcoming trip to Asia this August.

I had told him about my plans earlier and wanted to tell my niece too. After my nephew’s straightforward interruption I told her I would be going to Asia again but this time for a lot longer. To a young kid, three months seems super long compared to a couple weeks.

My nephew may think my trip is “bad news” and it will be hard for me to be away from my family during this time. However, It will be worth it, because I will get to share the BEST NEWS with dozens of college students in Asia.

I am so honored, excited, and ready to meet college students who I have never met and introduce them to Jesus who they have never met. I want to share my story and how Jesus’ story has an eternal impact on my life. When I think about how amazing it will be to have that privilege, it’s honestly hard to hold back tears of joy.

And I am so thankful to have you standing behind me. I am also excited for you, knowing that you can share in the rich inheritance of souls saved for the Kingdom of God.

Thank you for sending me! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share the BEST NEWS to college students in Asia. There is no limit to what God can do through my time there.
