Last year I wrote a blog saying that we as a CT group, both Stateside and Asia-side were going to join together and answer a challenge and call from God — to pray like we have never prayed before! We were going to go after the goal of praying 10,000 hours in a year, and I want to let you know that WE DID IT!!!!!
We had a bit of a slow start, and over the winter months it looked like we weren’t going to make it. But while we were in our retreat in KL, we felt God freshly challenge us and we went back to our cities with renewed enthusiasm to go after the 10,000 hours. In the X, we all set aside at least four hours a week to go out and pray together on the campuses, which was amazing and was a real boost to our prayer time overall. Our team in the Du was an amazing example and led the way in stirring up passion and commitment for praying and we couldn’t have done this without them.
More than accomplishing our goal, we have seen God do so many amazing things as we have dedicated ourselves to praying in a greater way. We have seen finances released to people on our team, students join the family, training groups get started, and more people commit to coming over to serve in Asia! God is amazing and I feel so blessed to have been able to be a part of this!
Thank you so much for standing with me and standing with us during this time to see the 10,000 hours goal reached! Your constant prayers really do make a difference and are making a difference here in Asia!
Let’s keep praying, and don’t stop!
