Hello!
I can’t believe it is December 20th already… A mere 5 days until Christmas! It seems like just a few weeks ago it was Thanksgiving. Oh how the weeks have flown by!
As you may know, my parents made their first trip to Asia at the end of November! It was a busy couple of weeks as they spent Thanksgiving with myself and the team, visited the local sights here in the X, and tried a lot of good food. My God even got a traditional foot massage and got his feet nibbled by fish! Mom wasn’t so keen on trying either of those, haha.
These past few weeks have been very exciting here in the X! We have seen at least three people get baptized, which has been awesome! In addition, through various Christmas parties we have seen at least five people make decisions to follow God, and dozens of people have heard the gospel shared.
Just this past Friday, Dove, Autumn, Mulan and myself had eight girls over to Autumn’s apartment. We baked cookies, sang songs, and most importantly, shared the real meaning of Christmas with them. For some of them it was their first time hearing it, and others had heard it before, but regardless they were all able to process it in a new and fresh way. Please pray for the eight girls that were there, especially the two girls who came with me. Pray they all make decisions in the coming days to follow God!
Also, pray for me personally in these next three weeks as I prepare to run our annual Retreat in Thailand. This is probably my busiest time of year. Pray for energy and for everything to come together well.
