Man has it been a crazy month. So many awesome things are going on here. I hope your holidays were lovely and this season was full of joy and hope.
First off we threw some parties! That’s right Christmas parties! These were so awesome. We shared hot cocoa, caramel, and the story of Christmas with all our guests. After hearing this wonderful story of the birth of Jesus, seven people decided to join the family! It’s so awesome how God works, moves, breaks, and shifts peoples hearts so that they can know His love. This month I have just seen Him chasing people down. I am so happy to be a small part in this. Oh and by the way that seven is only from one campus. Our other team also had parties and also had people join the family. This month was great!
Then we had Christmas! I missed my family and friends, but the party here was awesome! We opened presents and ate lots of good food. We played Secret Santa and White Elephant! It was awesome!
Tomorrow is New Year’s Eve and I am very excited to have another awesome party with my friends!
Anyway that’s what’s been going on in a nutshell. My language skills are also improving. I’m studying a lot of characters and new words that I hope I get to use soon.
