For us, 2016 was an awesome year. We got married! Not much else can beat that! Newlywed life has been wonderful for us. We love being together and know we’re enjoying the fruit of our long wait! Professionally, it’s also been a great year. We’ve seen a new team go to the field; the church in X-town has been growing; the lost are getting saved; Christ is worshiped!

Many of you have heard Adriel and I share about our friend Kristine and the struggle she endured with her friend Lili. In case you haven’t, here is the short of it: Lili told a big lie to the heads of Kristine’s university – that Kristine had joined a cult that drugged people and that she was forcing other students to attend. Kristine was facing expulsion and was disowned by her dad. But after a time of interceding, the school decided not to kick her out and her father apologized for hitting her and asked if she would tell him about Jesus!

But the story doesn’t end there. Lili was wrecked by what she’d done. She repented and slowly began rebuilding trust with the church.

And just this year in April, Lili repented and was baptized! But not only that… Kristine baptized her! It was an emotional and joyful victory us and for the entire church, who walked with Kristine and Lili through the entire restoration process.

We wish you the best in 2017 and hope you have fun ringing in the New Year!
