There are certain moments here. Moments when it feels like time has suddenly stopped, when the chaos of the world around me has calmed and in those moments I am left to focus on just one thing… Never can I forget these moments. They come in different forms. A Christmas party packed with brothers and sisters meeting each other for the first time and discovering that they’re not alone.  A meeting with a friend who so desires to know deep in her bones that God is real and continually asks that unrelenting question, “Am I loved?.” A hug from someone who a mere few months ago was a stranger, but now has become a sister, a companion, and a best friend. Or a call at some random hour of the day, where on the other end cries a brokenhearted friend looking for someone to listen and care for her. A friend filled with thanks and awe, just because you took the time to pray over them. These are the moments. They disturb my day, they stop me in my tracks, and they leave me with just this one unshakable truth. That I am exactly where I am meant to be.

Today I want to leave you with a question. Let it be as hard to answer or as easy to reply to as it should. But please, answer to yourself this one question. “What are my moments?.” What are the times when you know that you know that you know that you know, you are exactly where you’re meant to be. As we move into a new semester here, I am believing for a new season, a new harvest, and more new fresh moments to sweep me off my feet again and again. I encourage you to do the same. God is on the move; he’s cultivating the lands, fixing his gaze on every seed, and like a good farmer he is keeping his eye on the treasure though it may be hidden deep within the ground.
Keep your eyes on the treasure.
Until next time!
