Just this past weekend, I was with 10 young workers from our team at a campground in New York preparing for re-entry into America after 9 months of serving in Asia. And I am thrilled that 6 of them will be joining our team long-term to help ignite church planting movements on Asia’s campuses.
Our next group of 14 first-year workers are now raising support and preparing to launch into Asia this August.
Since Cher and I have been back in the States over the last 6 weeks, God has been using the team in Asia in incredible ways. In fact, the churches we’ve started have grown bigger than they’ve ever been before! We are excited to see how God will continue to grow things as we serve back in the States during this season.
Over the summer months, Cher and I will be taking a sabbatical after these last 4.5 years in Asia. We are excited for this time of God renewing and retooling us for the next season of ministry in Asia. Then in the fall we will be serving with our team here in America, leading Campus Target and helping to mobilize more young workers to reach Asia’s campuses for Christ.
