Hey how are you doing? I hope you are enjoying this wonderful summer weather! So you’re probably wondering what is a transit team? Let me tell you! Transit team is the best thing EVER! First the back story so you’re not lost. As you know I recently ended my internship with Campus Target. I was supposed to be on a plan to Asia back in early May. The Lord had other plans. I am still raising the support that I need to head back soon. It is all in His timing! Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under Heaven.”
So now that the internship is over and I and others are not back in Asia… Now what? We aren’t Stateside workers. Our destination is Asia. It’s kind of like we are visitors for a season. We are on a different track than those working here. At first, we all felt all over the place… not sure what this season was going to look like. But now we have started our own team to help us stay connected while we are in this awkward transition. Next you might be wondering what do you do in this transit team? Well we meet as a team once a week. During this time we fellowship, pray for each other, and we are currently going through a book study by Bill Johnson called “ Strengthen Yourself in the Lord.” We watch a video by Bill then follow the book with some discussion afterward.
Next you might be thinking well what does she do in her free time? Does she have a job or go to school? When I am not with the transit team I have meetings with leaders, and work in the office raising support. Making phone calls, sending thank you letters, setting up meetings, and even doing language study! These are just a few of the things I am doing during this transition season. I am so thankful and blessed to have this wonderful team with me during this season. The Lord knows just what we need and when. He is such a good Daddy!
