I have served 7 years in CT now and this year by far has been the most effective! Every year was different. I had seasons of learning, growing, dryness and opposition. This year has been a year of breakthrough!
Acts 4:33 says, “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.”
Right now there are two words to describe what is happening here in Asia, great power and great grace.
Something really special has finally happened here, something I have been waiting for a long time. No, I don’t have a girlfriend yet still waiting for that miracle. In these last 7 years one by one I have met different people of influence in the hip hop culture. Famous breakdancers, studio owners, musicians and music studio owners. In these past years, while I met them and talked with limited use of the native language, there was already a plan. When I studied in a classroom everyday daydreaming of these people to get saved, there was already a plan. As I poured out hundreds of hours in intercession and wrote down all their names in my notebook, there was already a plan.
Four years into my stay here in Asia, God sent a little humble Asian pastor from another country to share the good news with them. They all got saved!
All the people I had met all knew each other. This year in April he came back to visit and I was invited by one of these dancers. We had church in the dance studio of the number 1 top breakdancer in this country. One by one they came in to join service and I saw them all hug the pastor then hug me.
The pastor stood up and said to them, “Enoch is your pastor now; you must follow him.” It was overwhelming. I heard the Lord say to me, “You asked me to save them but I already did. I ask you to disciple them.” All these people after 7 years, are now given to me. I have the understanding of the native language to lead them now. These last 3 months have been incredible. We meet every week and they are growing. God did it!
God gives great grace and great power. I pray you see this released in your life too. He is faithful to fulfill his will in us.
