Mid-June, 9 incredible young adults landed in upstate NY to prepare for long term work in Asia. All of these young people have spent at least 10 months spreading the gospel to college students throughout Asia, and they’ve felt the call to go for at least 3 more years!
During the next few months they will experience leadership training, support training, studying the language, gaining skills for discipleship, training our new team; all while preparing for life overseas on the mission field. They are such a great group of people, and they are going to change Asia for Jesus!
Being asked to lead this team has been a great privilege. My heart has always been to help raise up the next generation for the Lord, and I have cried many tears hoping this day would come when I felt so inadequate. The Lord is so faithful to bring our deepest desires to light and remind us that He is not finished with us yet.
I feel so excited as I sit back and realize that these 9 are not only going to be future leaders, but will impact Asia for Christ for years to come! The coolest thing my friend? We get to be part of it 🙂
