I just arrived in Malaysia and was texting my mom when she texted me back, “Your brother just got in a car accident.” I lost feeling in my legs and dropped to the floor. My body went cold and I didn’t know what to do. I texted, “Is he ok?” There wasn’t a response. I called, but she didn’t answer. I stood up and leaned against the wall, closed my eyes and said the only thing that could come out of my mouth, “I trust you Lord.” I cried and called again. My mom only talked to me for 30 seconds before hanging up. saying my brother was on the way to the hospital. After talking to her I sent out a text to over 30 people to pray for him. The friend I was staying with also prayed over me then I felt peace and we went to sleep.
The next day I actually got all the details and heard that my brother’s car was completely totaled but he was ok, no broken bones, not even any outside physically damage just some inside pains. He slid on the snow and hit another car then crashed into a wall. He hit his head on the steering wheel, got of his car to pull the other man out of his car then he blacked out. The other man also is ok. Please continue to pray for my brother as he was on heavy medication and pray for no serious internal problems to his body.
I want to praise our Lord in this moment and tell you that the enemy has plans on my family to destroy us. Both my brother and I were 18 years old when we got into car crashes but God is faithful and miraculously saved us! I believe the call for my brother’s life and this was a wake up call also the same way it happened for me. Now he is considering to quit his job to move and do a full time internship with a church to both serve God and get his life back on track. He will also plans to come to visit me in the summer.
