Hey Friends!!!! I’m so happy to share with you that this past week alone I have seen 3 people come into the family. Here in X-town, 7 all together came into the family!!!

Here is how my new sister Lily came into the family. It all started about 2 weeks ago when Lily randomly messaged me asking if we could read the Bible together sometime because she wanted to hear more about God. To be honest, so many other things distracted me from this until this past weekend when it got back to my attention. Turns out, one of my roommates, Mulan, kicked off this past weekend by spending 4 straight hours praying for many of our Asian friends, Lily being one of them.

So, my partner Merah and I invited Lily over to our place to read some of the Bible together. As we read with her and explained the nature of God and His w0rd to her, she lit up and was so happy when she heard of His goodness. It was so obvious that Holy Spirit was opening her eyes and showing her the meaning of his w0rd. Soon, Holy Spirit was prompting Merah and I to ask her if she wanted to start a relationship with God.She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, thoughts swirling around in her head, when she said, “This is a very serious decision and I think I must spend some more time to consider it.” That wasn’t going to cut it for me. There was some sort of barrier there, and HS was showing me that she was afraid. I asked her, “What is holding you back from this? What feeling is making you

She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, thoughts swirling around in her head and said, “This is a very serious decision and I think I must spend some more time to consider it.” That wasn’t going to cut it for me. There was some sort of barrier there, and Holy Spirit was showing me that she was afraid. I asked her, “What is holding you back from this? What feeling is making you not want to?”Her response is a river of questions along the lines of – ‘do I have to wear something special? is there anything I can’t eat? what if I forget to pray?’

Her response was a river of questions along the lines of — “Do I have to wear something special? Is there anything I can’t eat? What if I forget to pray?” Merah and I just laughed and told her of the goodness and immeasurable love of God, and how he looks at us. Well, the love of God speaks for itself and a realization of it was enough for her to say, “Okay, I think I want to begin to know Him better.” 🙂 🙂 🙂

After we prayed, she said, “Well, I think I have a new friend now!” 🙂 We ended our time with us giving her a Bible and her being completely dazzled at who God is and His love.

Prayer Requests: Please be praying for my partner and I to be protected from the enemy (the spiritual environment is different here). Also, pray for our Asian friends who are trapped in the lies of what they have been forced to believe their entire life and that strongholds would be broken.
