I don’t know about you, but I love this time of year. Harvest time, with pumpkins, ripe delicious apples, and everything yummy made from these two things. 🙂 Seeing all the farmers in the field harvesting all the ripe fruits and veggies for all the parties we will have with friends and family, eating & celebrating all the wonderful food this time of year brings. I know what you’re thinking. … No, I am not a farmer, but this time of year gets me so excited! Not just for the food but about of what Jesus told us in the Bible about His harvest, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” (Luke 10:2)

Our teams in Asia have been seeing a great harvest over the last couple weeks, here are a couple of their stories:

1. We met Louis on Thursday. The Lord told her to look for a student that liked basketball. He was wearing a NBA jersey. He was in a hurry that day, but we got to play basketball with him Saturday and share testimonies with him. He had a genuine excitement from hearing them and was happy to hear the Gospel. As soon as I told him about Jesus, he said, I think I believe. He had difficulty praying to accept though. He said, maybe I should know more. I feel the Lord gave me wisdom and I told him, You can spend your whole life learning more, or you can obey what you know and follow Jesus today. He agreed! After accepting grasped his chest and said he felt like a new man. Hallelujah!

2. We met Jack at the party last Saturday. Jack also went to the Sunday meeting it was clear he was a seeker. Our plans for dinner Wednesday changed many times eventually the plans turned into meeting Jack for dinner. He knew a good amount of the Gospel. So our time sharing was mostly clarifying the Gospel for him and making sure he understood Jesus is the only way. Within about 10 minutes of clarifying the Gospel Jack was ready to follow Jesus! Praise God.

I pray these would encourage your heart today in whatever season your in and give us all the courage we need to share about God with the people around us. Would you keep praying that God would continue to move on the hearts of the students in Asia? We don’t know exactly how many salvations there have been already since our new teams arrived in August but it is somewhere around 45 new believers! That is amazing! He is So faithful.

Thank you so much for your continue prayers and support. We are looking forward to sharing more stories with you as the year goes on.
