Eight of us stuffed into a small passenger van with our luggage stacked so high on top of our laps that we couldn’t see where we were going. It was better that way- not to see how many other vehicles we almost collided with on the way to the hotel from the airport. Our plane had safely landed through the extreme (but typical) fog, and I knew our God would get us to the hotel safely!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being back in Asia! It truly feels like home! Busy city traffic, familiar spicy foods, beautiful people…

Altogether, we’ve had a great first week…the team is adjusting fairly well to the time change. One day we toured the center of our city; another day we stepped foot on the campus where we’ll be working this year. Already we’ve had some significant times of prayer-walking and other social interactions at our universities. We hope to get moved into apartments soon, so everyone else can start feeling at home too.
