Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day celebrating!

Tonight (or for you this morning) we will be having a party! It’s going to be awesome! I think God is going to show up big time. We have invited a lot of friends to come and hear about why we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. This got me thinking why do I celebrate it? So I did some research on who St. Patrick was. He was kidnapped by Irish pirates from his home in Britain. He was a slave, and his job was to be a shepherd. During his enslavement he repented and converted to Christianity. After 6 years of being a slave he heard a voice telling him his ship was coming. He ran away and escaped back to Britain. There he continued to study Christianity. He then went back to the country that had enslaved him so that they might be saved.

I was just thinking about how hard it must be to go back and share the Good News with people who have wronged you. St. Patrick understood that this Good News isn’t just for us, it’s for everyone.

I am really encouraged by this man, I hope you are too!

8 more friends joined the family. Keep up the praying!
