As most of you probably know, I’m back in America! I arrived on Sunday morning and I have been experiencing some pretty serious culture shock! when I got off the plane, I was freaking out with all the English speaking and American foods, I can’t tell you how excited I was for Doctor Pepper!

I’m home, but I’m not exactly at my hometown. For the next few days, I’ll be at a camp for debrief, a time of rest and reintegration to American life. I will return home on May 20th and become an American again!

These last 9 months has been a total whirlwind for me. It’s been a roller coaster of emotions, but I’m so glad I was able to share the time with my amazing teammates. We grew really close over this year and we learned a lot about one another. I know it will be hard to say goodbye, but at least we are all in America and can see each other pretty frequently. My teammates in Asia will be harder to reach, so that goodbye was really hard.

I just wanted to take a minute and thank you all once more for all of your steadfast prayer and support. It’s been hard, but God has gotten me through this amazing time overseas. I hope that you will continue to support other missionaries with prayer and financial support. This field is so important, but it gets so little funding and recognition! Jesus has called us to tell the world who He is, so let’s do it!

In conclusion of this time abroad, I would like to say that if anyone would like to sit down and have coffee or a meal or anything, I would love to share my experiences with you! I have so much to talk about, and I’d love to tell anyone who wants to listen. I also have a small gift for all my supporters that I can give in person or I can send in the mail if we can’t meet in person. One last time I want to say thank you, and God bless you!
