I had just gotten off of Skype call with Professor. We had been catching up when he shared a story I wasn’t expecting. After class one day he felt led by God to go to the cafeteria. Not thinking too much about it, he headed that way. When he arrived he ran into our old friend Harold, someone we hadn’t seen or heard from in 2 years! Professor got talking and he could tell something was different about Harold. Part way into the conversation Harold said “Hey I wanted to let you know I joined the family!’ That’s what was different. When Professor and I had last talked to Harold he had said, “I really see God in your lives but I’m not ready.” We then said our goodbyes and jumped on a plane home.It made my day to hear Harold had join the family and it awesome to see how Dad was working. It reminded me of the verse “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but Dad has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only Dad, who makes things grow.” It was super encouraging to see Dad doing his thing and taking care of my friend even while I was away.

I have officially graduated from college and it feels good to be done with school. I’m prepping to go to Asia later this year and I can nearly taste it I’m so close! I deeply look forward to the things to come.
