Eeeeeeeeek!!!!!! It was 2:30 a.m. I had gotten up to go to the
bathroom and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water.  I heard
scratching and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a big black spot
on top of the trashcan.  There sitting on my trashcan was the
biggest cockroach I have ever seen! Trying not to wake up my room-
mate, I began to wildly slap the cockroach with the broom. I can’t
even imagine what I looked like running around my apartment
swinging a broom around.  You will be glad to know that even though
it was a tough battle, victory was mine!

Well, it was another full week of meetings and classes. I think I
say that every week, but every week just keeps on getting more
busy! We had Barney come and speak to our city this week.  It was
so encouraging to have someone come and remind us of the work that
is going on not only in Asia, but also back at home in the
states.

I was able to lead songs at a Women’s Retreat this week.  It was an
awesome time of worship and fellowship with other sisters.  There
were a lot of wonderful women there who took some time to pour into
me and spoke some truth into my life.  We all left refreshed and
excited to continue walking in the path before us.

My family received some bad news this week as a good friend of the
family passed away.  It was hard to hear this news so far away from
home.  Please continue to keep my family and the fellowship at home
in your prayers as they are going through a difficult time.

There were seven more friends that came into the family this week!
What an amazing thing the Father is doing here among the students.
Lives are changing and hope is being given!

Prayer Requests:
1. Continue to talk to the Father for all of our friends. It is
amazing all that is going on over here, and I am excited to share
it with you.
2. There is a sickness that is going around. Please continue to
pray for healing for our whole team and protection against getting
sick.

Thank you for all of the e-mails from this week. It is always a
blessing to hear from home. I hope you are well, and that God is
continuing to bless you.

Love,
Summer
