Heyyyyyyy!!! God is continuing to do so many incredible things here in Asia. My friends and I have seen so many people come into the Kingdom and commit to studying the Bible. We have seen people’s minds completely blown by the knowledge that is the light of the good news. And, we’ve seen so many hearts be touched by God’s overwhelming love for them.
Just today, my roommate and I met with a friend we’ve known for months. We shared with her some things Holy Spirit wanted to tell her, and she said she felt warmth when my roommate shared them and how people who believe in God are noticeably different from everyone else in how they love. Ultimately, our friend did not say yes to a relationship with God today. But, I have incredible hope that she will very soon.
In fact, I have much hope for the people of Asia. Specifically, the college students here. Over the past 8 months, God has totally surprised me by allowing me to truly feel at home in this foreign land. Many hearts are so open and hungry for a love they don’t even know exists. I have been honored to share that Love with them. I have been privileged to not only call these students my friends but, my brothers and sisters as well.
Through much prayer and thought, I have decided to commit to 3 more years of ministry here. (Big news, I know!) I am absolutely delighted to share this with you because without you this life-changing experience of the past 8 months would not have been possible. I can definitely say that this was not MY plan, but HIS. Words in an email cannot begin to express my gratitude and passion for this place. I will be in Asia until the end of May and then two weeks later I will begin training to come back for long-term work. I am so excited to meet with you sometime this summer to discuss how my time here has been and how YOU have been!
