Do you ever have one of those moments when you just know God is going to do something special? I had one of those moments this week. I was getting ready to meet with my friend Virginia for the first time and I could just feel God's presence. I didn't know much about Virginia. I just meet her at the English Corner on Campus last Friday but I felt that she would be someone who I could really connect with.

So as I was walking to meet Virginia for tea I had this sense that it wasn't my meeting with Virginia but it was God's meeting and I was just coming along. It was an amazing feeling. It was as if the Lord was telling me that He was going to touch her today and He was inviting me to come with Him.

I took Virginia to my favorite tea house. They have this amazing fruit tea called Paris Leery. It is the best tea I have ever had and hopefully I can find it somewhere around here to buy it. We sat down, poured our tea and started talking about life. Virginia has the best English of anyone I have met. She spent three years in the states when she was younger and she even had the opportunity to attend church. I asked her what she believed and like most Asian students they don't really believe in anything but she said that she considers herself a spiritual person.

During the 2 hrs that we meet it seemed like the conversation was just flooded with God's love. Almost every topic she brought up lead to me talking about God's unconditional love and how Jesus is the only way to eternal life. It was a crazy experience for me. I got to tell her over and over again how much Jesus loves people. How He wants the best for their lives and His love is unconditional. Even though we may sin it doesn't affect his love for us. He wants to free us from our sins. As we talked and talked I could just feel God's presence, like he was sitting right beside me. It was amazing. Toward the end of our conversation Virginia said to me, “Today I have met a wise and loving Christian.” I was so blown away because I knew that it was the Lord flowing through me.

As we begin to realize God's love for us He flows through us so we can love other people. When I try to reach others on my own I end up feeling frustrated and empty but when it is God's life flowing through me the experience is covered in His grace and love.

Virginia did not come into the family during that meeting but I know that seeds were planted and the Lord's love was manifested. Please talk to Him about Virginia that her heart would hunger to know more about God and his love. Ask that God's love would overwhelm her this week. I am very excited to meet with her again and I can't wait to see what He is going to do next.
