When we last wrote, we mentioned that we’d be having a powerful training session to equip our new workers so that we can launch them into Asia this August. Powerful it was!!! As many young adults traveled from all over the U.S. to the cornfields of our headquarters, God showed up in HUGE ways! These young adults were definitely hand-selected by God – we couldn’t have picked a better group ourselves. As they participated in different training sessions – from their relationship with God to support raising to Asian culture, each individual had a new flame light in their heart – a new burden and vision to reach the lost. We’re so excited for what God has in store for each of them. As they are raising their funds to get to Asia, one of my husband’s roles is to connect with, prepare, and cast vision with one of these new workers each week. This worker is well on his way to getting fully funded for his 9-month trip to Asia. This season of investing into our new team will produce such beautiful fruit on the college campuses in Asia.
On a personal front, we moved to a new place this past month. We’ve been blown away by how God is meeting our set up needs for our new home – from furniture from friends and family to special finds at garage sales (praise the Lord for that $5 dresser), we’ve been so grateful for the Lord’s provision. We are feeling more adjusted as a couple here in the States (cause our “normal” is still Asian life) and we are extremely grateful for all the help from our friends and family since we’ve been back. Little things like candles, pots, and extension cords go a long way to help us build a home and life together. We know we’ll go to the ends of the earth to share God’s goodness, but in this season, as we are home in the States, it feels so good to feel a little more settled! Thanks!
