These past few weeks have been filled with lots of different emotions. We have had two commissioning services, two big recruiting events, and God provided all the money we need! All while we are trying to get everything together and ready by the time we need to leave while both being in and out of sickness and pain, but more for me than for Aladdin. Let’s just say, its been a ride.
God has shown us time and time again that we can trust in him, just like Proverbs 3:5-6 says: “5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
We must lean on the Lord, even in the times where we don’t understand. We have learned that when you fully surrender to the will of God, things don’t always become easier, but things become more clear, and life is worth it. The minute we chose to lay down our lives to see the word of God spread, that is the moment where we felt a purpose. We encourage each of you to dig in deeper with God, surrender everything to him and you will see just how big Jesus is!
Please pray for us as we are preparing to say our last goodbyes! we are half way through the goodbyes and it doesn’t get easier! Also, we are boarding the plane April 25th back to Asia, so please pray for safe travels! We just want to thank you for everything you have done for us, whether through prayer or through finances, each of you has played a part in what we are doing for Asia and we appreciate you so much!
