You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. At 5 pm today, just a couple short hours from now, 16 young lives will be forever changed, resulting in thousands of Asian college students saying “yes” to Jesus. That’s right, today kicks off the start of a fabulous 4 day weekend of training and equipping 16 young adults who said “yes” to the call of missions that God placed on their hearts.
These faithful ones will be traveling from all over the country to a tiny little church here where we will spend the weekend sharing stories about Asia, speaking vision into their lives, empowering them to believe in the impossible, and providing them with the resources that they need to spend the next 4 months building a team of prayer warriors and generous sowers that will launch them into Asia for a semester jam packed with building relationships, sharing the Gospel, and life-on-life discipleship. Through these few, hundreds will hear the name of Jesus for the first time! Dozens and dozens will give their lives to the Lord. And from these dozens, many will be ignited with a passion to see their lost family, friends and classmates come to know Jesus. Thousands of lives will be changed!
